THE NBCO 5-STEP APPROACH
With 25 years experience in custom building and project management, NBCO has developed a unique project planning process which comprises five steps.
1.
THE DREAM (FOUNDATION)
We strive to understand our client’s vision and conceptualize their personalized needs for every project. We prepare a customized wish list and talk with the client about their project’s overall budget.
2.
DESIGN AND CONSULTATION (STRUCTURE)
Whether a client already has a Design Team in place or will be using a Design Team recommended by NBCO, we will be part of the design process. This involvement will aid in cost control and ensure the client wish list is considered at every step.
3.
BUDGET, PERMITS, SCHEDULING
(ROUGH-IN)
Once the Design Team is finished and the project plans are ready to go, NBCO coordinates the budget with estimated costs. The permit application process is started and a construction schedule is established.
4.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS (FINISHING)
A sharp eye and attention to detail makes us unique in what we do. We choose reputable trades and work closely with them to ensure we deliver the project on time and on budget. Using the latest in construction software we work closely with our clients clients, keeping track of all records and communication, making this journey as transparent as possible
5.
HAND OVER (WARRANTY)
After a thorough clean up of the construction site and numerous walkthroughs with client, it’s time to talk warranty. We transfer all the manufacturer warranties for home equipment. We provide our own extended two-year workmanship warranty, and we schedule a 6-month walkthrough with the client to be sure everything is working as well as we expect it to be.
